Katie Groke
Associate Principal

Katie Groke, CPRP, MPA serves as Associate Principal at PROS Consulting, bringing more than two decades of leadership experience in parks and recreation, strategic planning, communications, community engagement, and organizational development.

Prior to joining PROS, Katie served as Director of Community Services for Apex Park and Recreation District, Senior Associate at SE2, and Director of Communications and Marketing for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Colorado. Her diverse career also includes roles as National Program Manager for The White House Project, where she focused on recruiting and training women to run for public office, leading communications initiatives, and mobilizing communities to drive meaningful change.

A former NCAA student-athlete on a soccer scholarship at the University of Wyoming, Katie has worked with organizations including the NCAA, Choice USA, Springboard Enterprises, and Planned Parenthood of the Rocky Mountains. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, is a Certified Park and Recreation Professional (CPRP), is a graduate of the NRPA Directors School and serves as a regent for the NRPA Revenue Development Management School.

Katie is actively involved in her community and currently serves on the boards of the Arvada Vitality Alliance, the Arvada West High School Foundation, and Porchlight Family Justice Center. She is a Colorado native who is married to Adam, her Ben to his Leslie, cheers her kids on at basketball and cheer competitions, has a sassy dog, two cute cats (one is fat) and Chicky Minaj, the great backyard chicken.
